3. The place where the fire extinguisher is placed should be kept dry and ventilated to prevent the cylinder from moisture corrosion. Solar exposure and strong radiant heat should be avoided so as not to affect the normal use of the fire extinguisher.
4. Fire extinguishers should be inspected regularly according to the requirements and inspection cycle stipulated by the manufacturer. Inspection contents of fire extinguisher:
The outer surface of the pressure gauge of the fire extinguisher shall not have deformation, damage and other defects, otherwise, the pressure gauge should be replaced;
Whether the pointer of the pressure gauge refers to the green zone (the green zone is the design working pressure value), otherwise it should be filled with driving gas;
Whether the fire extinguisher nozzle has deformation, cracking, damage and other defects, otherwise it should be replaced;
The pressure handle, valve body and other metal parts of the fire extinguisher shall not have serious damage, deformation, corrosion and other defects affecting the use, otherwise it must be replaced;
If the cylinder body is seriously deformed, the cylinder body is seriously corroded (large area of patent skin is shed, the corroded area is greater than or equal to one third of the total area of the cylinder body), or the connection parts and the bottom of the cylinder are seriously corroded;
The rubber and plastic parts of the fire extinguisher shall not be deformed, discolored, aged or broken, otherwise they must be replaced.
Portable carbon dioxide fire extinguisher, must use pressure handle valve;
If the extinguishing dose is greater than or equal to 4kg, the fire extinguisher should be replaced with a spray mechanism with a gap or equipped with a spray gun. Those that cannot be replaced should be scrapped;
Unreasonable mechanism (such as the cylinder flat bottom, storage cylinder external, intake pipe from the barrel into the barrel body inside the dry powder fire extinguisher) must be scrapped;
Simple fire extinguisher shall not be refilled for maintenance. The simple fire extinguisher refers to the storage pressure fire extinguisher that can not be refilled and is opened by one finger with a filling capacity of less than 1kg.
One fire extinguisher was selected from the same batch for fire extinguishing performance test. ABC (ammonium phosphate) dry powder is usually light yellow, the ejector powder fine without impurities, the ejector powder after sufficient heating leaves less residue;
5. Once the fire extinguisher is opened, even if it does not emit much, it must be refilled according to the prescribed requirements. Refilled should be carried out by the professional maintenance department according to the requirements and methods stipulated by the manufacturer.
6. If the fire extinguisher is found to have any problem through functional inspection, it must entrust the maintenance unit with maintenance qualification to carry out maintenance, replace the damaged parts and cylinder for hydrostatic test, and refill with fire extinguishing agent and driving gas. Maintenance units must strictly implement the scrapping system of fire extinguishers. Before filling every five years and every time, the main pressurized parts of the fire extinguisher, such as the head and cylinder, should be tested by hydraulic pressure, and the qualified person can continue to use it. After the test, it should be dried in time, and the inner wall should be checked. There should be no obvious corrosion. If the hydraulic pressure test is not qualified, it is not allowed to be repaired by welding and other methods.
7. The fire extinguisher repaired by the maintenance department shall have the mark recognized by the fire supervision department, and the name of the maintenance unit and the date of maintenance shall be noted.
8. Whether the fire extinguisher has been used or has not been used, it shall be counted from the production date (there is a production date on the cylinder of each fire extinguisher). After reaching the specified maintenance years, it shall be sent to the maintenance unit for maintenance.
9. The management office must strengthen the daily management and maintenance of fire extinguishers. The "fire extinguisher ledger" shall be established to register the type, configuration quantity, setting position and the person responsible for maintenance and management; Clarify the responsibilities of the person responsible for maintenance management.
10. The management office shall check the maintenance of the fire extinguisher at least once every quarter, including: The implementation of the maintenance responsibilities of the responsible person, whether the pressure value of the fire extinguisher is in the normal pressure range, whether the safety pin and lead seal are in good condition, whether the fire extinguisher can not be used for other purposes, firmly placed, no buried pressure, the fire extinguisher box should not be locked, avoid sunlight exposure and strong radiation heat, whether the fire extinguisher is in the effective period, etc. The inspection of the effective status of the fire extinguisher should be made into a "Fire extinguisher Inspection record" and filed for verification.
